Discover the authenticity and diversity of Lisbon wines in a two-day program that combines the pleasure of wine with the discovery of the history, culture, and landscapes of this fascinating region. Located next to the Atlantic, this is one of Portugal’s most dynamic wine regions, where the maritime influence gives rise to fresh, elegant wines full of character — perfect for enjoying on their own or with seafood, fish, meat, or traditional dishes.
Over two intense and inspiring days, we will visit five carefully selected wine producers, located in different sub-regions and with their own unique identities. At each visit, we will have the opportunity to get to know the vineyards, the wineries, and the people who bring these wines to life—producers who reflect the essence of the territory and the strong Atlantic influence that marks the profile of Lisbon wines. The tastings will include different styles and levels of quality, allowing us to understand the breadth and value that make this region one of the most interesting in Portugal.
But this program goes beyond wine: we offer a journey that is also a dive into history. We will visit emblematic places and points of historical interest linked, directly or indirectly, to wine and the people who produced and enjoyed it over the centuries. Among landscapes shaped by vineyards and memories that span time, you will be able to see how wine and history go hand in hand in this region.
Throughout the program, participants will be accompanied by a wine expert and history enthusiast with in-depth knowledge of the region and its traditions. He will share not only his knowledge of wines and their production, but also interesting facts and stories about the geography, heritage, natural conditions, and people who have shaped Lisbon’s wine-making identity.
The gastronomic experience will be equally memorable. On one of the days, lunch will be served in the cellar of one of the producers visited, after a tour of the vineyards and a visit to the cellar, in an authentic and welcoming atmosphere. On the other day, lunch will take place at a local restaurant, where the rich traditional Portuguese cuisine will be paired with wines from the region, revealing combinations that surprise with their harmony and flavor.
This program is an invitation to experience Lisbon’s wine in its entirety—through the land, history, and people that make it unique. A sensory journey that unites the Atlantic, wine, and culture in an unforgettable experience.
